About Immersed Festival

Tramshed, Cardiff CF11 6QP, puts Immersed Festival 2027 inside a 1,000-capacity music venue on Saturday 6 March 2027.

The festival dates back to 2019. It is curated by University of South Wales creative industries students, with support from Creative Wales, and raises awareness for Music Declares Emergency.

The format has widened beyond live sets. The 2026 edition was presented as a month-long celebration of creativity and imagination, with music sitting alongside film, art, fashion and theatre.

Who Is It For?

The core audience is student, young-adult, creative-industry and live-music focused. Careers activity, skills development and networking sit within the wider programme.

The official event listing marks it as 14+. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

General admission is listed at £10.

The Venue and Site

Tramshed is an indoor, single-venue site on Clare Rd in Cardiff. Capacity is 1,000.

There is no camping. The venue has level access throughout the venue and courtyard, a lift to the first floor, accessible toilets, a bar, cloakroom and a drop-off / pick-up point outside the main entrance.

The bar and cloakroom are cashless.

Tramshed sits on Clare Rd in Cardiff, with Cardiff Central Station the nearest rail stop at 0.5 miles away.

• Road access: Clare Rd, Pendyris Street and Wood Street.
