About Bassfest
At Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield, Bassfest 2027 runs as an 18+ electronic and bass music weekend on 17–18 July.
The format is direct. Bassfest’s 2026 edition was listed as its 10th-anniversary edition, placing its first edition in 2016. That anniversary listing cited over 100 artists and 20,000 ravers, while Don Valley Bowl has a listed venue capacity of 7,500.
Weekend ticket tiers for 2027 are listed as Standard, VIP and Hospitality, with a price range of £44.50–£144.50.
Who Is It For?
This is an adult event. Bassfest is strictly 18+, with valid photographic ID required on entry and Challenge 25 in operation at the bars.
The audience skews towards bass-music crowds, particularly fans of drum and bass, bassline and house. It is not listed as a family festival.
The Venue and Site
Don Valley Bowl sits within Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, giving Bassfest an open-air site on the east side of the city. Sheffield city centre is about 10 minutes away by car.
Site facilities listed for 2027 include bars, luxury toilets and a hospitality area. VIP tickets include queue jump and VIP zone access, while hospitality tickets include a separate entrance.
No camping is provided, and camping gear is prohibited on site.
