About Falmouth Reggae Festival

Princess Pavilion keeps Falmouth Reggae Festival compact, with indoor rooms, gardens, café and bar areas setting the scale. The format is compact. The 2026 edition runs on 2–3 October at Princess Pavilion, Falmouth, as a two-day music festival built around reggae, ska, dub and dancehall. It marked its ninth year in 2025, putting its start around 2017.

Lineup and Programme

Announced acts include Channel One Sound System, Firmly Rooted and Pressure Roots. It is sound-system led. The format has used the Main Theatre for sound-system showcases, with the Garden Room taking additional programming; in 2025 Rigatoni hosted the Garden Room.

Alongside live reggae and sound-system sets, the programme extends to an afterparty at The Cornish Bank.

Who Is It For?

The crowd is reggae-focused, drawing mainly from Falmouth and the wider region. Daytime is broader. A daytime all-ages section sits alongside evening programming aimed more at older generations.

The Venue and Site

Princess Pavilion is a multi-purpose live music and theatre venue on one level, with indoor and outdoor spaces. Capacity is up to 2,000 people. Facilities include a café, bar and accessible toilets, plus flat floor access through the venue and sloped access from the car park.

The site has on-site parking and garden space around the venue. It is a compact site.

Travel to Falmouth Reggae Festival

Princess Pavilion sits in Falmouth, Cornwall, with rail links through the Maritime Line from Truro.

• Rail: Falmouth Town station is about a 5-minute walk from the venue. Falmouth Docks is about 500m away, and Penmere is an alternative rail stop when Falmouth Town is closed.
• From Truro: the Truro to Falmouth Docks rail journey takes roughly 25 minutes and covers about 11¾ miles.
• Road: access runs from the A39 via Dracaena Avenue and Western Terrace, then Melvill Road, Gyllyngvase Road and the Emslie Road junction.
• Parking: the venue has a small free on-site car park with 25 spaces, including 3 accessible spaces. Overnight parking is not permitted, and large events may close the car park.
