About End Of The Road

Larmer Tree Gardens, Salisbury sets the frame for End Of The Road 2027, an indie rock music festival on the Wiltshire-Dorset border. The first edition ran in 2006. Recent public reporting puts daily capacity at around 14,000–15,000.

In 2020, the postponed festival was replaced by the online In the Garden of Streaming event recorded at Larmer Tree Gardens. The festival marked its 20th edition in 2026.

Lineup and Programme

The bill reaches beyond indie rock into folk, experimental, electronic, psychedelic, jazz and hip hop. Its stages are Woods Stage, Garden Stage, Big Top, Folly Stage, Talking Heads Stage, The Boat Stage, Piano Stage and Cinema Tent. Stage times sit within a wider programme of live music, comedy, literature talks, cinema screenings, art and workshops, plus DJ sets.

Who Is It For?

The crowd skews mixed-age and indie/alternative-leaning, with family infrastructure built into the site. Under-18s are admitted only with adult supervision: anyone aged 17 or under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult aged 21+. Children aged 12 and under need tickets and must be accompanied by an adult or parent. No day tickets are sold.

The Venue and Site

The festival uses Larmer Tree Gardens, Victorian pleasure gardens set in woodland on a slight hill. It is a small site, with stages, bars and village traders positioned close together. Camping covers General, Family, Boutique, Accessible, Campervan and Quiet areas. Facilities include showers, compost toilets, water refill points, a 24-hour staffed valuables lock-up, cashless bars and ATM machines. Accessible toilets, showers, wheelchair charging and viewing platforms are listed for access users.

• Parking: Parking passes are required for cars and motorbikes. Accessible blue-badge parking is available in the general car park and Accessible Campsite; motorhome tickets include one complimentary parking space.
