About Eden Sessions
The Eden Project opened to visitors in March 2001, its biomes defining the St Austell site before any gig infrastructure arrived. Eden Sessions began there in August 2002 with Pulp at its first one-day music festival, and the 2027 run marks its 25th year in the current series. It is a popular-music concert season at the Eden Project, St Austell, with the 2027 dates running on 2 and 3 July.
Every gig ticket includes free entry to the Eden Project on the day of the show and the day after. The format is built around live concerts under the biomes rather than a camping weekend.
Lineup and Programme
Announced acts include Jack Johnson, with shows on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 July 2027. The bill sits in multi-genre popular music, with rock, pop and singer-songwriter part of the festival’s history. A large Main stage carries the concerts.
Who Is It For?
Eden Sessions is aimed at a standing live-music crowd, generally adults and older teens. It gets loud. The festival recommends age 12+ and advises against young children because of large crowds and volume.
Under-16s must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged 18+ on a 1:2 ratio. Some Sessions Plus package tickets have minimum ages of 12+ or 18+.
The Venue and Site
The concerts take place on a large stage in the centre of the Eden site. The main arena has no covered or seated areas, and capacity is about 6,000.
The site is cashless, with bars, food outlets and free water stations. Food outlets include meat-free and gluten-free options; bars use reusable cups. Toilets include accessible loos and a Changing Places toilet in the Visitor Centre.
Sessions Plus options add raised viewing plus separate bar and toilet facilities. Lockers are at the Banana Car Park drop-off area, and no overnight camping or sleeping in cars is allowed.
