About City Splash Festival
Brockwell Park, Brixton, is the site for City Splash Festival 2027 on Monday 31 May, a one-day music festival centred on roots and reggae, dub, dancehall, jungle, garage, afrobeats and amapiano.
It runs in a single day. Launched in 2021, City Splash says the event has a 30,000 capacity and describes it as the world's largest one-day celebration of Caribbean and African music, food and culture.
Lineup and Programme
The bill is built around Caribbean and African sounds, taking in roots and reggae, dub, dancehall, jungle, garage, afrobeats and amapiano.
Four stages are listed: Main Stage, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4. Live music runs alongside street-food trading, drinks bars, general standing areas, VIP viewing areas and access/facility points.
Who Is It For?
City Splash is all-ages, though the festival says most of the crowd are adults.
Children and young people up to and including 17 must attend with a parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian over 26; one adult can accompany up to four young people. Adult ticket price applies from 18.
The festival has family and children's provision, including nappy-changing support, while stating that it is not explicitly family-focused.
The Venue and Site
Brockwell Park is the venue, with entry guidance naming Norwood Road, Dulwich Road, the Brixton Water Lane gate and the Herne Hill gates.
Facilities include a box office, toilets, welfare and first aid, free drinking water points, seating and shade areas, recycling, charging points, an access hub, accessible toilets and assistance-dog access.
Accessible viewing platforms are provided at the Main Stage, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4.
