Launched in 2014, Chiddfest is Chiddingly’s music festival which incorporates jazz, blues, rock and beer on Nash Street in the village. Acts perform across two stages and the festival is held in aid of St. Wildfred’s Hospice.

Many acts have already announced they’re attending Chiddfest in 2015 including The Blockheads, Dirty Thrills, Elles Bailey, Brother Strut, Mel Hayes, Larry Miller, The Elevators, Kalakuta Millionaires, The Southern Blues Kings and Lipstick and Beatniks.

Alongside the main stages there are also plenty of stalls, hog roast, ice creams and face paintng. 2015 also sees the arrival of Little Red’s Busker’s Booth at Chiddfest with plenty of open mic slots to be snapped app by talented and enthusiastic amateurs. The festival is also host to writing workshops for adults and children.
