Brownstock Festival Brownstock Festival

Brownstock Festival Header

Brownstock Festival is an annual Music Festival run by the Brown family on their farm in Essex. Now in its 9th year the festival is set to welcome 6000 visitors through the gates on the weekend of the 31 August to the 1 September.

The festival is still completely independent and run entirely by the Brown family and friends giving it a uniquely rustic and handmade feel.

A piano bar with acoustic sets, The Saloon Bar with country music, treehouse stage, comedy, storytelling, street art camp, skateboarding park, parkour displays, dance tent, a silent disco and the chance to try a home raised Aberdeen Angus Beef from the farm at the "Brownstock Sunday Roast" are some of the things to look forward to during the 3 day event for which tickets start at £62 for the whole weekend.

All just 40mins on the train from London Liverpool Street near Chelmsford - and the local taxi firm are on hand to do shuttle runs for the 2 mile trip from the station to the farm.

30 Aug - 1 Sept 2012. Gates open for campers at 4pm on Friday.

The Fratellis, Mark Ronson, The Pigeon Detectives, Benga, Hadouken, The Cuban Brothers, Duke Dumont, King Charles, Jaguar Skills, Devlin, Delilah, The Grizzly Bears and many more still to be announced.
