About Bromyard Folk Festival
Bromyard’s festival site sits next to Bromyard Town Football Club, a quarter-mile from the town centre. Bromyard Folk Festival 2027 runs there from 10-13 September 2027, built around traditional folk music, contemporary folk, song and dance. Founded in 1968, it began with 150 tickets and now draws thousands each year.
The scale is spread through the town. Around 100 events run across 20 venues, with about 400 performers involved across the weekend.
Lineup and Programme
The bill runs through traditional and contemporary folk, with folk song and folk dance carrying equal weight. Main Stage and Club Stage sit alongside the Dance Tent. Other named programme spaces include Falcon Mews, Pete Geoghegan’s Song House, Football Club, Site Arena and Falcon Ballroom.
Concerts, ceilidhs and workshops form the main programme. Pub sessions, dance displays, children’s activities and crafts sit around that core.
Who Is It For?
Dedicated folk fans share the weekend with families and mixed-age groups. Children’s activities and crafts put family programming inside the festival, alongside concerts, dance and sessions.
The format suits a crowd moving between marquee spaces, pubs and indoor venues rather than staying in one arena all day.
The Venue and Site
The main site is next to Bromyard Town Football Club, Bromyard HR7 4NT, about a quarter-mile from Bromyard town centre. Camping sits within the festival site, adjacent to the venues, for weekend ticket holders only.
Tents, camper vans and caravans are allowed. Toilets, showers, water points, food on site, a car park and electric wheelchair re-charging are part of the site facilities. The campsite opens at 14:00 on Thursday and closes at 10:00 on Monday.
