Back In Time Festival 2027

About Back In Time Festival

After starting as a lockdown live stream, Back In Time Festival 2027 lands at Esher Rugby Club, Kingston-Upon-Thames as a soul-to-house music day festival covering funk, R&B and reggae. The project began in 2020 during the Covid lockdown, growing from a kitchen stream to weekly broadcasts reaching more than 100k screens. For 2027, the listed festival date is Saturday 1 May, running 12:00–22:00.

Who Is It For?

The age policy is strict: 25+, with ID required on entry. Its audience is adults after a throwback day festival built around soul, funk, R&B, reggae, house and club classics. Club classics, soulful house and disco are also part of the stated music brief.

The Venue and Site

Esher Rugby Club sits at 369 Molesey Road in Hersham, with the festival located in the club’s North Field. Capacity is 1,000, limited by licence.
