Under The Counter

Under The Counter is a Japanese rock band formed in 2002 by four students at Meiji Gakuen University. The group begins as an indie and alternative act before moving into major-label activity in 2005.

Career

The band releases its first album, Pool of Cider, in 2005. Later that year, it makes its major debut with its third release and first single, High Way, My Way, on Crown Records. By the end of 2009, bassist Osumi Tomotaka and drummer Yamawaki Yuko leave the group.

Line-up

The remaining core members are Sekiya Kentaro, who handles vocals and guitar, and Yoshimura Yohei, who plays guitar and chorus. From 28 February 2010, the band adds support members Nori on bass and Miyazawa Jun'ichiro on drums.
