Sophie Hosken-Taylor is a UK singer-songwriter who works in folk and pop. She performs regularly in south-west England and appears at venues including Bristol’s Colston Hall, Westland Leisure Complex, The Orange Box in Yeovil, and Tabernacle Junction, where she is the first musician to play the stage after the venue changes from The Orange Box. She also appears at Yeovil’s StreetFest 2010.

She self-produces the album It Could Have Been Worse and releases it in 2011. She also collaborates with other writers, records with Leopard Audio Productions, and works on the track “Kiwi”, which is available on SoundCloud.

Her stated influences include Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Amy MacDonald, KT Tunstall, Jose Vanders and Bon Iver.
