Paul Goodwin is a baroque conductor and oboist from Warwick, United Kingdom, born in 1956. He is a member of The King’s Consort and is associated with baroque music.

Career

He is regarded as one of the leading baroque oboists of his generation and is also established as a conductor. He makes more than 20 solo and concerto recordings and performs as a soloist with many of Europe’s leading early music groups. His background as an oboist informs his conducting, particularly in the areas of lyricism, phrasing and musical structure.
