Pappy's Flatshare Slamdown
Pappy's Flatshare Slamdown is a comedy podcast from Pappy's, the trio of Ben Clark, Matthew Crosby and Tom Parry. The group forms in 2004 under the name Pappy's Fun Club and later continues as a three-piece after parting ways with fourth member Brendan in November 2009.
Background
Pappy's receive a nomination for Best Newcomers at the Chortle Awards. Their second Edinburgh show is nominated for the if.comedy award, previously known as the Perrier Award, in 2007. They win a Chortle Award in 2008. The group tours Funergy around the UK in 2009, and their show Pappy's Fun Club's World Record Attempt: 200 Sketches In An Hour attracts a run of five-star reviews.
Other work
Alongside Pappy's Flatshare Slamdown, the group also makes the free comedy podcast Pappy's Bangers and Mash. They write and star in the BBC Three sitcom Badults, which airs in 2013.
