Hot Since 82 is a UK deep house, house, progressive house and techno artist from Barnsley, in South Yorkshire. He is raised in the Athersley South estate and grows up in a household with four brothers and sisters, where a mix of different music styles plays throughout the home. His father also encourages his interest in house music by inviting him to spend weekends at a garage where VW Beetles are repaired and fitted with large sound systems.

He releases tracks including “Knee Deep In Louise”, “Like You” and “Houz Thiz” on labels such as Get Physical and Moda Black. He also makes remixes for Green Velvet’s “Bigger Than Prince” and Rudimental’s “Right Here”, and remixes Yousef’s “Beg”.

He appears on Moda Black’s “Little Black Book” compilation and album series, with its first instalment helping establish his profile as an in-demand international DJ and producer.
