Hinds

Hinds is a Spanish indie rock band from Madrid, active since 2011 and previously known as Deers. The group consists of Ana García Perrote, Carlotta Cosials, Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen. García Perrote and Cosials handle vocals and guitar, Martin plays bass and contributes backing vocals, and Grimbergen plays drums.

The band is associated with indie rock, pop rock, garage rock, garage pop and lo-fi. Their sound is often described in relation to garage and C86-influenced guitar groups, with references to 1960s pop-leaning rock. They name Black Lips, Ty Segall, The Parrots, The Strokes, The Vaccines and Mac DeMarco among their main influences.

Hinds release their first three albums as a four-piece line-up. Their debut album, Leave Me Alone, is followed by I Don't Run and The Prettiest Curse, which is their third and last album as a four-piece. Viva Hinds is their fourth album and their first as a duo.
