Hey Colossus

Hey Colossus are an English experimental rock band from London, active since 2003. They also have links to Somerset. Their sound spans heavy psych, noise rock, post-punk, post-rock, psychedelic rock and sludge metal, and they are also tagged with sludge, noise, noise rock, sludge metal and stoner metal.

The group releases music as a full band and through a range of other formats, including singles, mini-albums and splits, alongside full-length albums. Their catalogue includes In Black & Gold on Rocket Recordings, followed by Radio Static High in 2015 and The Guillotine in 2017, both also on Rocket Recordings. In 2019 they move to Alter Records for Four Bibles.

At different points, the band’s members include Joe Thompson, Robert Davis, Rhys Llewellyn, Timothy Farthing, Jonathan Richards and Paul Sykes. Other members named are Kreol Lovecall and Chris Summerlin.
