Fliptrix is a UK rapper, also identified as Alexander Whitehead, from South East London. He records with High Focus Records and is a member of The Four Owls.

He begins making an impact with Force Fed Imagery in 2007. His style is described through intelligent, streetwise lyrics, high-energy delivery and a wide range of flows. His first album follows that release and is presented as the next stage in his development, with tracks such as “You’ll Never Change” and “He Who Dares” noted for their wordplay and online attention.

Fliptrix works with a number of established UK hip-hop figures and producers, including Jehst, Verb T, Kashmere, Chemo, Runone, 184 and Jon Phonics. He also appears alongside artists such as RA the Rugged Man, Foreign Beggars, Taskforce, Phi Life Cypher, Kyza, Yungun, Mr Thing, Killa Kella, Ghost, Manage, Mystro and DJ Excalibah.

He performs regularly across the UK, with shows in London, Brighton, Bournemouth, Southampton, Ipswich, Exeter and Cardiff. His live appearances also include Outlook Festival in Croatia in 2008. His music receives play and support on outlets and shows including BBC Radio 1Xtra, Fabric Mix, Laurent Garnier’s podcasts, The Block on Spin Southwest Radio in Ireland, Markus Milz’s Further Infusion show in Germany, Suspect Packages Radio and Diesel U Music Radio.
