Enos

Enos is a heavy rock band from Brighton, UK, active since 2008. Their music spans hard rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock and space rock, with a stoner and doom rock following among listeners.

Releases and style

The band’s first recording, Chapter One, appears in 2010, followed by All Too Human in 2012. Their sound moves between psychedelia, heavy riffing and more relaxed passages, and is linked to a comic that shares the band’s name. The music follows the story of the chimpanzee Enos, using those shifts in style to accompany the narrative.

Live activity and later work

After All Too Human, Enos tour across the UK and Europe and play several festivals. They also release The East Slope – Live EP in 2013, which previews four tracks from the hour-long live DVD Live at The East Slope from 2014. The band then issues a split 7-inch EP with Mangoo through H42 Records in Germany.
