Echo Town is a United States–based artist born in 1959. The project is associated with folk, surf rock, reggae and indie, and is also described as having German audiobooks among its genres.

Echo Town’s music is described as upbeat folk rock and reggae with an acoustic approach. The act previously performs as a heavy rock band before moving into a style that it sees as a better fit. Its sound draws on Australian artists such as Xavier Rudd and The John Butler Trio, as well as Ben Harper, and it uses less common instruments including the Weissenborn lap slide guitar. Regular trips to the East Coast for surfing also shape the music’s themes and atmosphere.

The album Come On Over contains 12 tracks and is recorded at Bradford’s Peak Studios. It is released on the group’s own label and is available on CD and as a digital download.
