Bruce Forsyth is an English television presenter and entertainer from Edmonton, United Kingdom. Born in 1928 and active for more than 75 years, he dies in 2017. In 2012, Guinness World Records recognises him for having the longest television career for a male entertainer.

Forsyth comes to national attention in the mid-1950s through the ITV series Sunday Night at the London Palladium. He goes on to host a number of game shows, including The Generation Game, Play Your Cards Right, The Price Is Right and You Bet!. He also co-presents Strictly Come Dancing from 2004 to 2013.

He is also known for his catchphrases, including “Nice to see you, to see you nice” and “Didn't he (/she/they) do well?”.
