Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings

Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings are a blues-rock band founded in 1997 and led by Bill Wyman, the Rolling Stones’ bass guitarist. Wyman works with his lifelong musical partner Terry Taylor; together, the pair known as the “Dirty Boys” write, arrange and compose original material for the group.

Line-up and collaborators

The band has a changing line-up, with musicians appearing either as touring members or studio guests. Among the artists associated with the group are Peter Frampton, Albert Lee, Gary Brooker, Georgie Fame, Andy Fairweather-Low, Mark Knopfler and Martin Taylor. The touring format is often compared to Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band because established musicians move in and out of the project.

Activity and performances

The Rhythm Kings are known for live performances and tour frequently across Europe and the United Kingdom. They also tour in the United States, with one tour taking place in the middle of 2001.
