Party in the Park in Middlesbrough This Summer

Giant, illuminated, hot air balloons will light up the night sky this summer when Middlesbrough plays host to a giant Party in the Park. Stewart Park will be transformed into a family-friendly festival from Friday, 6th June, to Sunday, 8th June. The event promises a weekend filled with entertainment, including fairground rides, attractions, live music, street food, and more.

Special Events

On Saturday, 7th June, a special hot air balloon glow night will take place featuring enormous, individually decorated, tethered balloons. Visitors can enjoy the dazzling display and also experience live music from top tribute acts on stage.

Attractions

The festival offers a wide range of attractions for all ages, from motorbike FMX stunt shows to dog shows, hair-raising displays, character mascots, and daytime displays of tethered hot air balloons. Thrill-seekers can enjoy rides like the Stealth Bomber, Magic Mouse Spinning Coaster, and Top Spin, while younger visitors can have fun with teacups, ghost trains, inflatable slides, and bungee trampolines.

Event Details

Party in the Park will run from 4pm to 10pm on Friday, 11am to 11pm on Saturday, and 11am to 7pm on Sunday. Entry costs £2 on Friday and £5 on Saturday and Sunday, with additional ride charges. Visitors will receive £10 worth of discount ride vouchers. Children under 80cm can enter for free. Note that hot air balloon displays are weather dependent and subject to wind conditions.
