Alongside Healy, the festival has garnered support from several key backers, including Stonegate Group, Diecast, Uber, and other prominent businesses in the music and entertainment industry. The event is scheduled to take place from September 26 to 28, featuring performances from local and independent artists at various establishments such as bars, restaurants, and hotels.

In his statement, Healy emphasized the crucial role that small venues play in nurturing musical talent and fostering cultural diversity. He highlighted the economic impact of grassroots venues, which contribute billions to the UK economy annually and support millions of gigs each year.

Leading figures in the live music sector, including GigPig, BrewDog, and Laine Pub Co., have pledged their support for the Seed Sounds Weekender, recognizing the pivotal role that grassroots venues play in shaping the British music scene. The festival aims to celebrate and raise awareness of the vital contribution of these venues to the industry.

Access to the festival's gigs will be granted through Seed Sounds Weekender wristbands, with ticket information and venue line-ups available on the festival's official website. Ticket holders will also benefit from discounted Uber rides to and from participating venues during the event.
