Reading & Leeds Festival Announce Lockup & Dance Stage

Festival Crowd Header
Less Than Jake

California’s SOCIAL DISTORTION bring their hard rockabilly/punk to the festival on Friday at Reading and Saturday at Leeds, and Florida’s LESS THAN JAKE, one of the pioneers of the ska punk scene headline Sunday at Reading and Friday at Leeds.

The August Bank Holiday sees the finest names in music congregate on the biggest twin site festival in Europe at the READING & LEEDS FESTIVAL, and the line-up has just got bigger and better.   With FOO FIGHTERS, THE CURE, KASABIAN, THE BLACK KEYS, PARAMORE, FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE, THE MACCABEES, JUSTICE, AT THE DRIVE IN and METRONOMY already confirmed to play alongside many, many others we are now very pleased to announce names for the hugely popular LOCK UP STAGE and more names for the DANCE STAGE.

Our headliners on the LOCK UP STAGE come from the East and West coast of the US – both legendary acts with hugely impressive catalogues and fearsome live reputations. Joining them are acts from all over the world including ANTI-FLAG, ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES, GALLOWS, TURBONEGRO, BOUNCING SOULS, A WILHELM SCREAM and many others.

On the DANCE STAGE, more names are added to the already stellar line-up of METRONOMY, KATY B, AZEALIA BANKS and JAGUAR SKILLS.  Bringing their bass-heavy sounds to the festival, MODESTEP make their debut appearance; hotly tipped GRIMES and supremo DJ ZINC will also appear alongside more amazing names.    Finally LOS CAMPESINOS! are the last band to be added to the MAIN STAGE.

Many more names are still to be announced including the full line-up for the NME/Radio 1 Stage, Festival Republic Stage, BBC Introducing Stage and the Alternative Stage.
