Falmouth Oyster Festival returns to showcase the start of the native Fal Oyster dredging season for 2025. The festival will be held from October 9 to October 12 and will feature an expanded format, new venues, and a lineup of talented chefs and musicians.

The festival, celebrating Cornwall's maritime heritage and seafood culture, will be held at Events Square and Princess Pavilion. Attendees can enjoy a range of food experiences and live music performances throughout the event.

At the heart of the festival is the celebration of the native Fal Oyster, harvested sustainably using traditional sail and oar methods. Falmouth's unique oyster fishery emphasizes the importance of traditional harvesting practices.

The festival lineup includes award-winning chefs like Ben Palmer, Hylton Espey, and Angus Bell, along with musical performances by Seth Lakeman, Johnny Cowling, and more. Attendees can also participate in activities like the Working Boat Race and Oyster Shucking Competition.
