TRNSMT has announced new dates for its 2026 event, confirming it will return to Glasgow Green a little earlier in the summer from Friday, 19th to Sunday, 21st June.

The move will see Scotland’s biggest live music event kick off the summer season in style.

Since its inception in 2017, TRNSMT has become a major fixture in Scotland’s cultural calendar, celebrated for bringing world-class live music to Glasgow.

Festival Director Geoff Ellis commented on the date change, stating, “TRNSMT is always evolving and it’s all about giving fans, artists and the city the best possible experience. There is no better way to kick off summer than with an incredible weekend of live music and that unbeatable Scottish crowd.”

Further details, including lineup announcements and ticket information, are expected to be released soon. Fans are advised that tickets will be available via the official TRNSMT website once they go on sale.
