The Prodigy will headline the APEX stage on Saturday 28 August 2027, giving Creamfields festival an appropriately explosive first headliner for its anniversary edition. It's their first Creamfields appearance since 2013.
The booking also lines up with another anniversary. 2027 marks 30 years since The Prodigy's landmark album The Fat of the Land.
The Prodigy return after 14 years
The Prodigy emerged from Britain's rave scene before crossing into rock, punk and mainstream electronic music, producing defining tracks including Firestarter, Breathe and Out of Space.
They'll take over APEX, one of the largest indoor festival stages in the world, on the Saturday of August Bank Holiday weekend.
Franky Rizardo also confirmed
Dutch DJ and producer Franky Rizardo has also been announced, returning to Creamfields after a two-year break. He will play APEX on Sunday 29 August, closing the four-day festival.
Creamfields turns 30
Creamfields returns to Daresbury, Cheshire, from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2027, marking three decades of the festival.
Organisers are gradually revealing acts for the anniversary edition, and further announcements are expected over the coming months.
