Stroud Festival
Stroud Fringe is an annual music festival organised by a small group of volunteers. The event comprises a main open-air stage in the town’s Bank Gardens, with a wide range of music offered over 3 days. Many of the artists and traders are local and entry is free.
The committee also provides free publicity and marketing for a range of other events that take place in and around Stroud over the weekend under the banner of the Fringe. They can also offer advice and support to individuals or groups wishing to organise a Fringe event, although limited resources mean they are not able to offer direct financial support for this. We receive 50% of our funds from a grant & the other 50% through the support of local businesses and trading at the event.
Stroud, situated in Gloucestershire, is a hive of cultural, artistic and musical activity every day of the year, and over one weekend in August/September, thousands of punters and hundreds of performers come together to celebrate what’s on offer.
