About Rock n Ribs Festival

At Bath & West Showground in Somerset, Rock n Ribs Festival 2027 runs as a three-day American-themed music festival built around rock, country, blues, rockabilly and americana.

The idea was hatched in Yeovil in 2019. Its first edition followed at Henstridge Airfield in August that year, with 1,500 advance tickets sold for a one-day show.

The festival returned as a full weekend in 2021 after a site-layout change, then debuted at Wincanton Racecourse in 2022. Bearfoot Productions organises and promotes the event, with official trade terms listing a 12,000 capacity for 2026.

Lineup and Programme

The format is spread out. Named stages and arenas include Monster Truck Main Stage, O'Donnell Moonshine Country Stage, Smoke N Hose Food Trial Stage, Jailhouse Rock, Geezer's Palace, Campfire Sessions, Wrestling Tent, Line Dancing Tent, Monster Truck Arena and Fusion Extreme BMX Arena.

Away from the music, the programme includes monster truck shows and rides, Smokehouse BBQ and food trials, wrestling, line dancing, extreme BMX shows, vehicle displays and parades, a Wild West horse show, Wall of Death and campfire acoustic sessions.

Who Is It For?

The audience runs across rock and country fans, families and visitors drawn to American vehicle culture, BBQ, wrestling and line dancing.

It is family-friendly, with quiet/family camping available. The main arena and camping areas are over 18 unless accompanied by an adult over 21, and infants aged 3 and under do not need tickets.

The Venue and Site

Bath & West Showground is the Somerset site for the festival, near Shepton Mallet and Castle Cary. The showground gives the event room for indoor and outdoor stages, camping fields and arena activity.

Facilities listed for the site include loo blocks across the arena and campsites, free drinking water, wheelchair-friendly loo facilities, baby changing and a breastfeeding quiet space. Hard-standing routes run virtually everywhere.

Weekend camping is available for weekend camping ticket holders, with early camping from Thursday 3pm. Caravan and campervan passes are available, electric hookups are not, and the campsite has showers, a shop and Elsan disposal points.

Bath & West Showground sits on the A371 between Shepton Mallet and Castle Cary, around 20 miles from Bath and 25 miles from Bristol.
