Perth Festival
Perth Festival is a fun and all-encompassing arts festival which takes over the area each year. The 2017 Perth Festival is organised for 18th until 27th May and it is based mainly around the Perth Concert Hall and St John’s Kirk. The festival supports Perth’s 2021 UK City of Culture Bid.
An annual 10-day celebration, the 2017 Perth Festival line-up is coming together. Acts confirmed include: ArTay, English Touring Opera, Grimethorpe Colliery Band, Tenebrae Choir, and The Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra with pianist Freddy Kempf. There will also be plenty of community involvement with Perth Youth Orchestra and local schools involved.
