About Park Life Weekender
Park Life Weekender 2027 lands at Heaton Park, Manchester as a multi-stage music festival spanning hip hop, grime, pop, rock, club, house and dance. The event began in 2007 as Mad Ferret Festival at Platt Fields Park in Rusholme, then was taken over and renamed Parklife in 2010. It moved to Heaton Park in 2012. Manchester City Council minutes recorded a 60,000-per-day capacity for 2024, reduced from a previous daily cap of 79,999.
Lineup and Programme
The bill covers hip hop, grime, pop, rock, club, house and dance across multiple named stages. There are multiple stages. Stage names include Parklife Stage, The Valley, The Hangar, Temple, VIP Stage, Parklife FM, G Stage, Big Top, Palm House and Panorama. On-site activity centres on live sets, bars, food vendors and art installations.
Who Is It For?
Park Life Weekender is a 17+ event. Seventeen-year-olds must attend with a responsible guardian aged 18 or over, with a maximum of four under-18s per guardian. Sixteen-year-olds are not permitted. The format points to a large urban, mostly adult and older-teen crowd rather than a family camping audience.
The Venue and Site
Heaton Park gives Parklife a large parkland site north of Manchester city centre. The format is non-camping. Facilities listed for the site include bars selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, street food vendors, e-lockers, toilet blocks, free water points, and first-aid and welfare provision near Panorama and at toilet blocks across the site.
