About Mucky Weekender
Dub Pistols frontman Barry Ashworth launched Mucky Weekender in 2019. For 2027, Mucky Weekender runs from 9–11 September at Vicarage Farm, Winchester. The 5,000-capacity music festival uses 28 acres of private parkland.
The event moved to Vicarage Farm for its second edition in 2021. In 2027 it returns there for its seventh year, with a scale closer to a boutique weekender than a large outdoor festival.
Lineup and Programme
The bill leans into bass-heavy club music and live-band crossover. Dub and reggae sit alongside drum & bass, hip hop, house, funk, ska, breaks and electronic music.
Four stages carry it. Music runs through the Ashworth Mad House Stage, Crazy Diamonds Club Stage, UFO Stage and Noise Stage, with one stage set in the woods. The programme also includes DJ sets, street performers and circus acts.
Who Is It For?
Mucky Weekender is strictly 16+. The crowd is an adult boutique-festival audience drawn to dub, reggae, drum & bass, hip hop, house, funk, ska and electronic music.
Guests aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a full-paying adult. ID may be required on arrival.
The Venue and Site
Vicarage Farm sits at Woodmancott outside Winchester, with the festival spread across private parkland. The site includes camping areas, live-in vehicle fields, glamping and the arena.
Camping is included in the ticket price. Live-in vehicle camping is available, and glamping options run from Airstreams and Yurts to Emperor Tents and Bell Tents.
Hot showers and compostable toilets are on site, along with water standpipes. On-site recycling, chemical waste disposal and a convenience store are part of the campsite facilities. Accessible toilets and showers are in the campsite, with accessible toilets in the arena and accessible parking available.
