About Moseley Folk Festival

Moseley Park, Birmingham, takes Moseley Folk Festival 2027 from 3-5 September 2027 as a folk-led music festival with roots, Americana, indie and acoustic strands.

The first edition was pieced together in 2006. The site runs at a 6,000 daily capacity, and 2026 marked the festival's 20th anniversary.

Lineup and Programme

The programme runs across the Main Stage, Janice Long Stage, Kitchen Garden Stage and Speakers Corner Stage.

The Kitchen Garden Stage was added in 2018 in the Folk on the Slope area. In 2019 the event took the Moseley Folk & Arts Festival name to reflect an expanded arts programme.

Music is paired with arts and crafts, comedy and cabaret, poetry and literature, talks and debate, workshops and wellness activities. Picnics and food-and-drink areas are part of the site setup.

Who Is It For?

The crowd is mixed-age, with a local/community regular audience alongside folk, roots, Americana, indie and acoustic fans.

Under-18s must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 21 or over, with a maximum of two under-18s per adult. Under-12s go free with a paying adult, and bars and the door operate a Challenge 25 policy.
