About Ministry Of Sound Classical At Castle Howard
Castle Howard’s estate grounds outside York set the frame for Ministry Of Sound Classical At Castle Howard 2027, a one-day open-air music event built around orchestral club classics in North Yorkshire. It runs on Saturday 7 August 2027.
Ministry Of Sound Classical launched in 2018 with The Annual Classical live show. In 2019 it sold out two Royal Festival Hall dates before a debut UK tour with the London Concert Orchestra.
Lineup and Programme
Announced acts include Ministry Of Sound Classical. The programme centres on live orchestral versions of Ministry of Sound dance classics, moving through club classics, house, retro house and soulful house.
The site activity is straightforward: live orchestral dance anthems, on-site bars and street-food vendors. VIP and Golden Circle access applies where booked.
Who Is It For?
The audience is an open-air dance-music crowd, with the event listed as suitable for ages 12+. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
Children under 15 can buy a child ticket. Challenge 25 applies at bars.
The Venue and Site
Castle Howard, one of the UK’s best-known historic estates, sets the event in its open-air grounds near York. The format is a summer concert rather than a camping weekend.
Castle Howard’s official event information rules out overnight camping, along with tents and BBQs. Bars serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with street-food vendors, free drinking-water points, accessible toilets, accessible parking, an accessible viewing platform and fast-track entry arrangements listed for the site.
