About Love the 90s Fest - Maidstone
Love the 90s Fest - Maidstone traces back to a Love the 90s format first staged in 2017. For 2027, the open-air 90s music festival lands at Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone. This is its first Kent appearance.
The music runs through pop, house, UK garage and dance, with the Maidstone edition built around a 90s throwback bill.
Lineup and Programme
The bill leans into 90s pop and club sounds. Announced acts include Boyzlife, Claire Richards, Eternal and Aston Merrygold Presents Dirty Pop.
DJ sets cover dance music. Away from the artist sets, the programme includes street food and drinks, plus roaming entertainment with fire eaters and stilt walkers.
Who Is It For?
This is an ages 6+ event. Under-18s must attend with a responsible adult at all times.
The audience is framed around 90s nostalgia, with pop, dance and garage fans at the centre of the day. Street food, drinks and roaming performers make it broader than a straight arena show.
The Venue and Site
Kent Showground sits at Detling, Maidstone, with the festival using the Kent Event Centre site. The venue has free Wi-Fi, wheelchair access and on-site parking directly outside the buildings.
Disabled toilets are in place. Food vendors, slush cocktails and roaming entertainers sit within the festival site.
