Although music is an integral part KelvedonBash is not simply a music festival, it is about all of the Arts. As significant art collectors themselves it is important that it promotes what Henry and Katiebelieve in. Paul Saunders owns and runs both Westbank Art Gallery and Urban in Ibiza which will travel to Kelvedon with leading street artists who will decorate and perform throughout the weekend stamping its unique edgy brand on this beautiful country house. Leading street artists will decorate the arena. As part of the interactive ethos of our festival, we will also be having: graffiti walls an art hunt and Kids Paws, something for everyone.
An eclectic mix of bars. Drink healthy in Rosemary Ferguson’s juice bar. Get into the Caribbean rhythm at Basil’s bar of Mustique fame. And perhaps let Keith Flint pour you a pint in his pop-up pub.
Katie Channon is on the board of LAMDA (London academy of music and dramatic arts) and therefore drama is a slice of this weekend. People will be able to partake in a LAMDA masterclass run by the Rodney Cottier teaching stage fighting. There will also be a play performed for children on the Sunday.
The live music on the stage needs to finish at 11 but following this a large DJ tent continues until 1am. Norman Jay MBE is headlining on Friday with Radio 1’s Dave ‘Ram Jam,’ Rodigan. Saturdays acts include Lee Scratch Perry followed by Daddy g culminating in the keyboard prowess of Faithless Sister Bliss.

The Bashiteswill sleep well after all our available activities from exploring in 90ft of tunnels in our artificial caving system, bouncing themselves crazy with KTROO boots, getting their hands crafty and dirty with PAINT PAWS, learning how to be a DJ, painting a graffiti wall, Editing a film, joining The School of Noise and learn to make a record player .
