Originally Started Some Years Ago, When a Group of Overly Competitive Music Fans Who Had All Spent Many Years Annually Guzzling down Booze and Jerk Chicken on the Streets of Notting Hill on Carnival Weekend, Decided to Host a Caribbean Bbq for Their Friends and Family.

A Sound System Was Installed and a Temporary Roof Erected in the Back Yard of One of the Current Organisers, and the Guests Started to Arrive Laden with Delicious Grub.

As the Music Crept Louder and the Beer Flowed More Freely, People Began to Congregate Around the Jerk Pan, Sampling All the Food on Offer, Giving Opinion, Firing off Put Downs and Issuing Culinary Challenges. It Became Apparent That This Was No Mere Bbq… This Was a Contest.

At the End of That Brilliant Evening the Decision Was Unanimous “we Should Do This Every Year”…. So They Did.

The Jerk-off Was Born and It’s Grown Bigger Ever Since.

They Hold a Live Cooking Tournament Inside a Boxing in Which 4 Chefs at a Time Battle It out Across Multiple Rounds over the Hot Coals of 4 Authentic Caribbean Jerk Pan Bbqs. This Happens Throughout the Daytime and All the Food Cooked Is Distributed to the Crowd for Free Tasting.

They Have 3 Live Music Stages Which Have Hosted Some Amazing Bands as Well as Our Exclusive Outdoor Moving Mechanical Nightclub, the Vault, Which Has Been Graced by International Djs. Past Performers Have Included Dawn Penn, Black Slate, General Levy, Norman Jay Mbe, the Fyah Keepers, Mark Broom and Many More.

There are Loads of Kids Activities Including Fun Fair Rides, Bouncy Castles, Arts and Crafts, Face Paints Body Glitter and a Whole Lot More All for Free!
