Glorious Day Festival 2027 returns to Hove Lawns, Brighton as an 18+ seafront day festival built around house, disco, funk and soul. The scheduled date is Saturday 5 June 2027, with opening hours listed as 1pm to 10:30pm and last entry at 4:45pm.

The festival first ran at Hove Lawns on 14 June 2025. Later coverage described that debut as sold out.

Who Is It For?

The audience is adult only. Entry runs under an 18+ challenge-25 policy at the gate and at the bars, so the event is not suitable for under-18s.

Its music policy sits with boutique house, disco, funk, soul and soulful house day events on the seafront. Food stalls and bars operate inside the site.

The Venue and Site

Hove Lawns is an open-air seafront site on Kingsway, with views over the Brighton and Hove coast. The listed capacity is 5,500 per day.

The format is a single-day event rather than a multi-day camping festival. Facilities listed for the site include fully stocked bars and food vendors. Accessible toilets are listed, with a full medical team on site.

VIP ticket holders have fast-track entry, a private bar, posh loos, a chill-out area and golden-circle/front-of-stage access. The official FAQ also lists a VIP area and a viewing platform for accessibility and VIP ticket holders.

Travel

Hove Lawns sits on Kingsway, the A259, on the Brighton and Hove seafront.

• Rail: Brighton station is about 1.2 miles from Hove Lawns; Hove station is about 1.3 miles away.
• Road: Access is via Kingsway, with nearby references including King’s Road, the Peace Statue area, Courtenay Gate, Courtenay Terrace, Fourth Avenue, Hove Street and King’s Esplanade.
• Parking: There is no on-site parking at Hove Lawns. The official FAQ lists parking along the seafront and opposite the site, with no overnight vehicle facilities.
