Alison Limerick is an English singer from Stepney, United Kingdom, born in 1959. She begins her music career as a backing vocalist in the mid-1980s after attending the London Contemporary School of Dance.

Career

She is best known for her 1990s club anthems. Her most successful and widely known track is “Where Love Lives”, which first becomes a major club hit in 1991 and later reaches the top ten after being remixed in 1996.

Other work

In 1989, she makes a brief film appearance as an African sorceress in Bob Rafelson’s Mountains of the Moon. She also contributes vocals to the musical project This Mortal Coil, singing on the albums Filigree & Shadow and Blood.
