The annual festival focuses on acoustic-folk and is primarily held in The Pavilion Theatre at the end of Cromer's historic pier, which stretches out 400 metres into the North Sea.

Recently the festival has expanded to include other organised and impromptu fringe events around other venues in Cromer, as well as a second fully seated concert style venue and a dance-house.
