About Electric Bay
Torre Abbey Meadows looks out over Torquay bay from the seafront. In 2027, Electric Bay returns there on 10-11 July as an 18+ electronic and dance music festival. The first edition ran in July 2022 at the same Torquay site.
The format paused in 2026. Its 2027 edition is the festival’s fifth-anniversary return, following a 2025 record year that drew more than 17,000 people.
Lineup and Programme
Announced acts include Pete Tong Presents Ibiza Classics with Tom Richards Essential Orchestra, taking the Saturday headline slot. The bill leans into electronic, dance, house and drum and bass.
Live DJ sets and dance-music performances sit alongside local food vendors and bars. Saturday carries the named booking.
Who Is It For?
This is an adult dance crowd rather than a family field. Entry is 18+. Photo ID is required.
The booking points toward club-led electronic, house and drum and bass audiences, with the site set up around bars, food vendors, welfare support and free water stations.
The Venue and Site
The site is Torre Abbey Meadows, Torbay Road, Torquay, a seafront open space used for events and picnics. Torquay railway station is about five minutes away on foot.
Facilities include free water stations, a welfare station, lost property handling and secure storage. Purchases on site are cashless. There are no cash machines.
Food, drink and merchandise sales run on site, and free carer or personal assistance tickets are handled through ticketing partners.
