Founded in 2021 with around 120 people, Éalú Le Grá 2027 returns to Ballinderry Park, Kilconnell, Galway as a 21+ music festival spanning trad, folk, punk and electronic forms. The 2027 edition runs from 4–7 June 2027 and is described as the festival’s seventh chapter. The cap is 750.

Ballinderry Park became the festival’s permanent home in 2025, after the event had moved through four locations in five years. Early Bird tickets are listed at €169.99 + €15 booking fee.

Lineup and Programme

The bill moves across trad, folk, punk, house, techno, dub, disco, drum and bass and jungle. Named site areas include All In Due Time, Draiocht Anocht, Casual Bananas, Zen:Den, The Light Lab and Seomra Ranga. It is a multi-space programme.

The 2027 ticket page lists five handbuilt stages and spaces across the site. The non-music programme includes a parade, fashion show, workshops, yoga, breathwork, talks, Irish-language sessions, art installations, sauna and hot tubs, games and wellness activities.

The audience is strictly over 21s. Valid photo ID is required at the gate, with no exceptions listed in the festival FAQ.

Éalú Le Grá frames its crowd as participatory and co-created, aimed at wild hearts, artists, dancers, dreamers and deep feelers. The format suits a small 21+ music-and-arts site rather than a passive audience model.

The Venue and Site

Ballinderry Park is a 300-year-old estate in East Galway near Ballinasloe and Kilconnell, about 45 minutes by car from Galway city. It became Éalú Le Grá’s permanent home in 2025. The site is intimate.

Facilities listed for the festival include camping, glamping, on-site parking, food traders and bars, sauna and hot tubs, plus spaces for workshops and talks. General camping is included with most tickets; campervan tickets are required for overnight campervan stays. Accessibility support is handled by advance contact.

Travel

Ballinderry Park sits near Ballinasloe/Kilconnell in East Galway, about 45 minutes by car from Galway city.

• Rail: Ballinasloe Railway Station and Athenry Railway Station are the nearest named stations.
• Road: Access is via the M6 motorway at exits 14 and 15 for Ballinasloe East and Ballinasloe West, with site access described via the R348 from Kilconnell to New Inn.
• Parking: Free on-site parking is available in designated car parks only. Roadside parking and sleeping in vehicles are not permitted.
• Drive times: Athlone is about 25 minutes by car, Galway city about 45 minutes, and Dublin about 1 hour 45 minutes.
