Chilfest is thrilled to be welcoming a host of retro acts this coming summer, after two years of Covid cancellations, as we look forward to celebrating our 10th anniversary. We are so pleased to finally be able to welcome music lovers back to our idyllic setting in the rock-and-rolling Chiltern Hills with a first-class line-up of much-loved acts.

Chilfest 2022 is set to be a party like no other, with the likes of The Proclaimers, Tony Hadley and many more ready to get festival-goers back into the groove.

Getting the party started on Friday night are a galaxy of top tribute acts. Music lovers will be able to 'Come Together' to enjoy the sounds of The Beatles, courtesy of The Bootleg Beatles, and ‘Dancing Queens’ will be up on their feet to ABBA Revival. 

You can also ‘Definitely Maybe’ enjoy the numerous hits of supernova 90s band Oasis, thanks to the tribute Noasis. And no doubt proving to be a great ‘Substitute’ for legendary rock gods The Who are Who Are You. Finally, Tania Alboni will be bringing the songs of Amy Winehouse back to the stage with A Tribute to Amy Winehouse.

Saturday has an eclectic mix of classic pop artists, including headliners The Proclaimers, who will be performing at Chilfest for the first time and are guaranteed to have everyone singing along to hits such as “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, “Letter From America” and the anthemic “Sunshine On Leith”

Opening the show on Saturday will be the 'True' gent himself Tony Hadley, ex-frontman of Spandau Ballet, whose dulcet tones strike a chord with the audience every time he plays at Chilfest, his local festival. We can’t think of a better way to kick things off!

Also taking to the stage on Saturday are ABC, Maxi Priest, Peter Hook and The Light, Toploader, The Real Thing, Bad Manners, Toyah, and Heatwave.

After a challenging couple of years, what better way to spend the summer than relaxing in the English countryside while celebrating decades of fantastic music!

Totally Tribute - Friday, July 1st 2022

YES - You are able to bring your own picnic on Friday 1st July, however no glass or knives
 

Chilfest Saturday, July 2nd 2022

NO - You will not be able to bring picnics into the arena on Saturday2nd July. Water and soft drinks in 500ml sized plastic bottles are allowed (there is a drinking water tap on site where you can refill your bottles free) and you can bring in crisps and small snacks.  There is space in the car park and surrounding areas for those who wish to take picnics, but you will not be able to bring cool boxes and large bags into the main festival site.  If you wish to leave the main arena during the day our security staff on the entrances will have hand stamps to guarantee re-entry.

Chilfest welcomes disabled festival goers and takes all reasonable measures to assist with their attendance and enjoyment of the event. At the same time, the festival takes place in the open countryside and disabled guests should be aware that the main arena, car park and surrounding areas are, naturally, fairly uneven and may be difficult to navigate. CHILFEST stewards will be available, subject to peak movements, to assist disabled guests in getting in to the main arena.

The main car park is immediately adjacent to the arena entrance and parking stewards will ensure that any registered disabled guests are directed to the disabled parking area, which is very close to the main arena entrance.

Disabled toilets are provided on site.

Discounted Carers Tickets

If you are deaf or disabled and require full time assistance, your Carer is entitled to a 50% discount on the price of their ticket for Chilfest 2022.

You will need to provide a copy of a recent letter (2021/2022) from the DWP stating that you are entitled to DLA/PIP.

If you are unable to provide a letter from the DWP to support your claim as requested above you will not be entitled to a discounted ticket for your Carer.

How to apply for a discounted Carer’s ticket:

You will need to purchase your tickets by completing a ticket order form and sending it to us together with a cheque. Please call us on 01296 660006 and we will send the form to you in the post.

Complete the form and send it back to us together with your cheque and a copy of your DWP letter
Once the cheque has been cleared we will send the tickets out to you.
