About Burton Agnes Jazz Festival
Burton Agnes Hall gives the weekend its frame. For 2027, Burton Agnes Jazz Festival runs from 16–18 July at Burton Agnes Hall, Driffield, YO25 4NB, as a music festival built around jazz and blues. It launched at the Hall in August 2007 and works to a 2,000 daily capacity.
The festival has a long-established following. Its early run includes the third annual edition in August 2009, which kept the event on the same East Yorkshire estate.
Lineup and Programme
The bill sits in jazz and blues rather than a wider pop spread. Music runs between the lawn main stage, inside the house and the bar tent. At night, late acts move into the bar tent.
Picnicking on the lawns sits alongside Hall visits. Children’s entertainment includes balloon artistry and face painting.
Who Is It For?
The crowd is relaxed and family-friendly, with children’s entertainment running on site. Adult tickets are for 16+, child tickets cover ages 4–15, and infants under 4 go free with an accompanying adult. The return audience goes back across two decades.
Adult tickets are £110 super early bird or £140 standard. Child tickets are £45 super early bird or £55 standard.
The Venue and Site
The Hall is not a blank-field site. The festival uses the historic house, the lawn and the bar tent, with performances outdoors and inside the building.
The grounds take in walled gardens, woodland and a woodland adventure playground. Campers use the adjacent Park Field, with hot showers on the campsite. A tea tent operates alongside the Food Lawn; there is also a bar. Ice creams and barista coffees are on site.
Accessible toilets are in the courtyard area and at the woodland adventure playground. The ground floor of the Hall and the grounds are wheelchair-accessible.
