About Brixton Disco Festival
Brixton Disco Festival 2027 returns to 1 Windrush Square, London, SW2 1EF as an 18+ disco music event rooted in Brixton’s multi-venue club circuit. The 2027 edition is billed as the 9th annual celebration of disco culture in Brixton.
The festival began in 2018 inside the former Prince of Wales, now Brixton Storeys. Its roots run back to the Up On The Roof team’s rooftop sessions at POW, which had been running since 2007.
Lineup and Programme
The bill runs across disco, funk, soul, house and electronic music. DJ sets and live performances sit alongside food and drink in Brixton Village and a documentary screening at Ritzy Picturehouse for ticketholders.
Electric Brixton carries Main Stage billing. Other participating sites include Brixton Jamm, Brixton Storeys, Phonox, Brixton Village, Black Cultural Archives, Ritzy Picturehouse and Bricks.
Who Is It For?
This is an adult 18+ festival for disco and club audiences drawn to multi-venue programming in Brixton. Valid physical photo ID is required, and under-18s are refused entry with no refunds issued for under-18s.
The Venue and Site
The site is centred on Windrush Square and nearby Brixton venues. Capacity is based on the combined capacity of the participating venues.
Wristband exchange points are listed at Brixton Jamm, Brixton Storeys, Phonox, Electric Brixton and Bricks. A disco bus, using a Routemaster route, links venues between 2pm and 8pm on festival day.
