Bowness Bay Blues
If you were at Bowness Bay Blues 2016 you will know that it couldn’t really have gone any better. We had sunshine and wonderful music and we are all grateful to all the talented musicians who shared their gifts with us over the weekend. We would also like to thank the hundreds of music lovers who travelled from near and far to attend our very special festival. We hope you all enjoyed it.
So, on to 2017. The sixth edition of Bowness Bay Blues will be held over the weekend of 7 to 9 April. We have aimed to make the festival bigger and even better than previous years. We have a full programme of music in Bowness –with the popular music trail and making more use of The Wheelhouse. We will again have the Windermere Fringe which has been expanded and the very popular Blues Cruise will once again take place on Saturday 8 April.
BBB 2017 will support two local charities – Ambleside and Langdale Mountain Rescue and Blood Bikes Lancashire and North West Blood Bikes Lancashire and Lakes.
