About Big Love Festival
Cwm Cayo Farm, Usk puts Big Love in a rural Monmouthshire setting, with fields, woods and rough gravel tracks shaping the site. From 15-18 July, Big Love Festival 2027 brings its music programme back to that farm site. The bill sits across alternative, hip hop, folk, dance, reggae and funk for around 2,000 people a day.
The festival dates back to 2016. After a two-year COVID-19 break, it returned in 2022 at a new Usk site, adding the Fire Engine Stage and a big top.
Lineup and Programme
Music runs through Love Live (Main Stage), Fire Engine stage, The Big Top & Aerial stage, Woodland Dome, The First Love stage and Great Scott stage. The bill is broad. It covers alternative, hip hop, folk, dance, reggae and funk.
Away from stage sets, the programme includes circus, cabaret and dance shows, plus workshops, art sessions, DJ school, graffiti workshops and family events. Wellbeing covers massage, gong baths, saunas and plunge pools.
Who Is It For?
The crowd is multi-generational. Under-18s are admitted with a responsible adult aged 21+ on entry, and they must camp with that adult in family camping. Children need supervision throughout the event.
The family side is built into the site. Kids' activities, teen activities and family camping sit alongside the main music areas, while no children are allowed in the bar area after 7pm and alcohol sales run Challenge 25.
The Venue and Site
Cwm Cayo Farm is a countryside site of fields and woodland, with an Iron Age hillfort on the land. The wellbeing area sits within the hillfort.
Camping is included with weekend tickets, with standard and family/quiet campsites plus a family/quiet campervan field. The camping fields are about 200m from the car park and about 150m from the stages.
Facilities include free showers, drinking-water standpipes, composting loos, food and drink bars, street-food traders, boutique camping, limited electric hook-ups for campervans, an accessible campsite, a disabled car park and a medical/welfare tent.
