Established in 2000, Banbury Folk Festival was initially a one-day event that has evolved into a full weekend event that attracts some of the biggest names in folk music and their fans from all over the UK.
The festival takes place in Banbury, a little town nestled in the eastern edge of the Cotswolds and is close to Cropredy and Edgehill, historic sites of the English Civil War. Thanks to the pedestrianised town centre, it is ideal for shopping and dually as a great venue for the hobby horses and dance sides to perform.
Fairport Convention is one of the huge names announced so far for this great event!
