Wod

Wod is a Swedish black metal group associated with anti-cosmic black metal and raw black metal. The project describes itself in terms of destruction, chaos, the abyss, and Ginnungagap, and frames its approach around dark Germanic heathenism and “anti-cosmic propaganda”.

Background

Wod is one of the side projects of Orm, who is also involved in Ormgård, Domgård and Tyrant. Orm also runs Scythe of Death Productions, a label focused on Dankwaþiudiskatruwōn, described as dark Germanic heathenism.

Releases

The group releases material in demo and split form. Its discography includes the demos Waffenweihe Förintelsen (2001), Obskyr Förbannelse (2003) and Rekwifrîhalsjaz (2007), along with the split Terror (2004) with Waffenweihe Förintelsen.
